Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in the Blackboard Learning System. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser to access an assessment, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. For Windows users, start Respondus LockDown Browser, select the “i” button from the toolbar, and then click “Check for Newer Version”. The version will be displayed and you will be able to download a newer version if one is available. Click on Downloads and select the Install Respondus LockDown Browser. Select Continue in the popup and then Continue in the Respondus window.
