Before you begin:

• Use these steps to make sure your migration goes smoothly.

• Your Mac scans the drives on your PC to build a list of information to migrate. When the scan is complete, select the information you want to migrate to your Mac and click Continue.

Migration Assistant tells you when migration is complete. After migration is done, you can close Migration Assistant on your PC and log in to your new user account on your Mac. I'm attempting to use Windows Migration Assistant v2.1.2.0 to transfer files from a windows 10 machine to a new iMac with macOS 10.13.3. The issue is I do not have the ability to download Windows Migration Assistant v2.1.2.0 on my windows pc. The only version of MA that I am to download is v1.0.5.7, and when I do, I receive an error message stating windows mail is running. I removed windows mail, but I am still receiving the error message that will not allow MA to work. Please help. Thanks
