How to Get Highest DPS Build

Are you been be hunted down continuously with those high-end weapons? You don't have to worry no more as this guide will help you create and use on big high DPS Weapon, be it PVP or PVE content, damage and survivability will be a must. So let check out the requirements for a High DPS weapon.

Weapon To Use

Get an SMG that's it, regardless of which one you just get it. SMGs are one of the Top Tier DPS weapons which also has a very good accuracy and weapon mods with awesome perks.

Mods To Attach

Without any doubt, the Magazine mods are the main reason to increase your DPS drastically. So you better get an increased magazine size along with increased rate of fire as your secondary perk. If you are the Crafting guy then go for Extended Magazine Blueprint to increase your chances of giving headshots and for the rest, you can apply Either Critical Hit Damage or Critical Hit Chance.

Armor

The Gloves play an important role as an armor piece as they are able to roll base weapons damage by adding +350 damage to your gun which is the max any armor can offer. Other Armor piece and perks can focus on the critical hit damage more than the critical hit chances. Second is Mask, with Refreshed - Healing skills increased by 30% while in the last segment of hp or Rehabilitated - When under a status affect health regenerated 2% per second.

Tactical Link(Damage Buff)
This is the DPS King, if you mix this with your critical focused build then you will start playing like a pro.

Survivor Link(Damage Reduction)

Talents:

Slot Stats are some of the most powerful modifications that can be made in The Division.

  • 5Best Stats

Summary

Each piece of gear in The Division has a modification slot (sometimes multiple). Each gear mod slot can grant ~140 with a random major attribute, including 1.5% crit chance, which deals massive damage in a short moment. Failing to prioritize your gear mods over other major attributes can make you 'lose out' on ~1k stat points and ~11% crit chance, dropping your potential DPS by a good amount of points. Don't forget to re-calibrate your armor if you see fit. Remeber you can only do it once on each piece of armor so choose it wisely.

How Armor Works

Simply put, the more armor you have, the more you benefit. With each piece of armor granting a high crit chance and 1% damage reduction for 71.9 armor at level 30 over multiple pieces, increasing from 20% to 30% base damage reduction, you can max out your armor to 65% damage reduction.

Armor effectively mitigates firearms damage, though, so grenade damage is still pretty much unavoidable. That being said, armor is the best way to stay alive for more than a few seconds at a time.

Armor and Special Stats

All armor has built in bonuses, but only a few can get special stats.

Armor stats have a bottom baseline from which all other qualities and stats build from.

A basic set of Purples with no other gear modifications will result in a damage reduction of around 37%. With 1-2 armor bonuses on a standard Purple set, this reduction climbs to around 47%. Purples with 2-4 and above grant around 58% damage reduction. While there is not a hard percentage increase or formula discovered as of yet, it is a fair estimate to say that every two mods on a full set increases damage reduction by 10%, with a cap at 65%.

Optimal Armor

Most players do not have an immediate need for high end, decked out armor. Unless the player is going into the Dark Zone or fighting in challenge mode, medium armor will work just fine, netting around a 50% damage reduction. This really comes down to roles - if a player intends on being a tank, this conversation is very important, whereas a player who wants to be a DPS fighter should focus on damage traits rather than on gear talents.
